Perfect poached eggs

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp white wine vinegar
  • 4 Free-range eggs, beaten

Cooking Instructions

  1. Half-fill a large saucepan with water and add the vinegar. Bring to a slow simmer.
  2. Crack an egg into a cup and set aside.
  3. Once the water is simmering, stir it in one direction to create a whirlpool effect.
  4. While the water is spinning, carefully drop the egg into the centre of the pan. Poach for 2 to 3 minutes and remove using a slotted spoon.
  5. Repeat with the remaining eggs.
  6. Serve immediately.
