Green shakshuka, the hot new way to eat your eggs

You’ve heard of shakshuka? This is a green shakshuka! Welcome to your new favourite way to enjoy your eggs.

Fry 1 packet of diced pork rashers until crispy, then remove from the pan. To the same pan, add 6 cloves sliced garlic, 2 sliced red chillies and 4 sliced spring onions. Fry for a minute, then add 2 cups cream and simmer for a few minutes. Add 250 g shredded kale and 250 g shredded Swiss chard. Season and simmer for 5 minutes. Make 4–6 wells in the spinach and pour an egg into each well. Top with Woolies’ salt-and-pepper croutons and the crispy rashers. Bake at 200°C for 10–15 minutes, or until the eggs are set and cooked. Serve with a sprinkle of dill and sliced spring onion. Dig in!
