Overnight pickled green beans 

Easy  
Makes 1 jar  
Preparation time: 5 minutes, plus overnight pickling  
 
INGREDIENTS

280 g Woolworths Green Beans 20087494
Left over juices and jar of Woolworths 780 g Large Pickles – warmed 6005000184709
1 clove garlic, thinly sliced 20150501
½ red onion, thinly sliced 6009175831383
Extra leftover pickle juice, if needed 
 
METHOD

  1. Save the leftover pickle juice and warm it. To the jar, add green beans, the sliced garlic and red onion, and then allow to pickle overnight. If you want to submerge fully, add more pickle juice. If you want a stronger flavour, blanche the green beans before you add them to allow them to absorb more juices. 
  2. Serve the pickled beans as part of a snacking platter or with a quick tuna salad. 

Warm honey and mustard dressing  

Easy  
Makes 1 jar  
Preparation time: 5 minutes  
Cooking time: 3 minutes  
 
INGREDIENTS

Woolworths Tenderstem Broccoli, steamed to serve 20008529
 
METHOD

  1. When your mustard is almost finished, instead of throwing the jar away, rather make a dressing in it and keep in the fridge for up to a week. Shake all the dressing ingredients together in the jar to combine and pour over steaming hot Tenderstem™ broccoli. 
  2. Eat immediately – serve with roast chicken or seared steaks.
