Bircher muesli breakfast bowls

Ingredients

  • to serve dried apricots
  • to serve raw flaked almonds, toasted
  • fresh fruit, to serve
  • 1 apple, grated, to serve
  • 100 g dried apples and pears, chopped
  • 1 cup oat bran
  • 100 ml Ayrshire milk
  • 4 tbsp plain yoghurt
  • 90 g Wild blossom honey
  • 50 g sunflower seeds
  • 100 g raw almonds, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup rolled oats

Cooking Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the oats, bran, almonds, dried apples & pears, sunflower seeds, honey, yoghurt and milk then mix well and refrigerate overnight.
  2. To serve, stir in the grated apple, then place into serving bowls.
  3. Garnish with fresh fruit, toasted almonds and dried apricots.
