Gluten-free brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 box Woolworths gluten-free chocolate brownie mix
  • 75 g chocolate chips
  • 100 g pecan nuts, chopped
  • 70 ml low fat milk
  • 125 ml sunflower oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature.
  2. Preheat oven to 180 °C. Grease baking tin and line with baking paper.
  3. Pour brownie mix, chocolate chips and pecan nuts into a bowl and make a well in the centre.
  4. Mix oil, milk and eggs together.
  5. Pour into well and mix with a wooden spoon. Mix the batter vigorously for 1 minute, be careful not to over mix.
  6. Spoon the batter into the baking tin. Using the reverse side of the spoon spread the batter into the four corners of the tin.
  7. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes for soft and gooey brownies or 20 to 22 minutes for cake-like brownies.
  8. Remove from the oven and allow cooling for 20 minutes in the pan.
  9. Remove from the pan and cook on cooling rack.
  10. Cut into squares and enjoy.
